Respite Services is designed to support families and carers of adults and children with disability to continue their primary caring role. Respite care is a flexible service designed to meet the needs of individuals, carers and families. Respite care can be provided in the home of the person with disability or hosted in Ningana's respite house. This service includes care in community settings through day outings and social and recreational activities. At this current time, adults and children share alternate weekend access to the respite house. After-school care is provided three days a week during term times. School holiday care is available for families for ten weeks of the year for short and long stays.
