Unwrapping NEI Packaging

Mayor John Dal Broi, Bill Calabria, Riverina Winemakers and Darren De Bortoli, De Bortoli Wines will officially ‘unwrap’ a dynamic new corporate image on behalf of Griffith’s only disability support enterprise and its commercial arm, NEI Packaging, this Friday, 25th November.

Key business and industry representatives will join community members at a special luncheon at NEI’s production facility in Lenehan Rd to celebrate NEI’s dynamic new look.

An automated double header labeller will also be commissioned on Friday to increase in production capabilities.

This increase in NEI’s profile is result of the implementation of a 3- year business development and marketing plan designed to build existing and new business.

The new corporate logo and slogan will define NEI’s ability to provide solutions to industry whilst supporting people with a disability to fulfil their potential.

Griffith’s only disability support enterprise currently employs twenty eight people with a disability. It currently specialises in assembly, labelling and packaging for the wine, irrigation design and food production industries.

A number of key business relationships have developed following the adoption of NEI’s business plan in August.

A key NEI client, De Bortoli Wines have been integral in providing advice to increase the speed, efficiency and production capabilities of NEI.

Patrick Griffith will carry NEI’s new corporate image on one of their trucks as part of a proactive sponsorship agreement.

Winemakers of the Riverina are supportive of NEI’s new direction and have discussed wine labelling and marketing opportunities.

NEI CEO, Fiona Durham said, “This heralds an exciting new era for NEI and its supported employees. We are focused on increasing business and providing industry with what they want and need efficiently and cost effectively.”
