Accommodation Services
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing high quality services to people with a disability, NEI runs two supported accommodation services; Residential Services and Community Living.
NEI Accommodation Services aim to provide PWD skills development and access opportunities. These are skills that allow people to play active roles in society and participate both socially and economically in their community.
One of the most important aspects of life is having choices in how an individual wishes to live their life. At NEI we are committed to maximising our service users choices by maximising their life skills. This enables higher levels of independence and confidence which are the cornerstones of a happy and productive life.
Life skills:
• Impart self-esteem
• Allow individuals to interact with others
• Increase financial independence.
• Encourage a positive approach to learning and life experiences.
Our service users can find assistance in:
• Making new friends
• Receiving and managing their wages.
• Taking part in community and social activities
• Personal hygiene
• Shopping
• Cooking
• Home management
• Communication
• Interpersonal relationships
